Terms of Use For Woolwise
  1. License

    Except where otherwise explicitly stated the Australian Wool Education Trust grants Authorised Users (as defined later in these terms) a non-exclusive, non transferable license to the materials provided on this website according to the terms and conditions set forth in the following clauses. By using this service, either as a download from the internet or by the option of receipt of a CD ROM the user acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the terms and condition of this license Agreement.


  2. Authorised Users

    Authorised Users are defined as :

    1. individuals; or
    2. institutions

  3. who wish to access the material provided on this site, conditional to their acceptance of the Terms that apply.

  4. Permitted Use

    Authorised Users may view, download, or print subjects, topics or modules from www.woolwise.com for their personal scholarly, research and educational use in accordance with the terms of this Agreement , conditional to their acceptance of the Terms that apply.


  5. Prohibited Use

    Authorised Users agree not to forward, transfer, sell rent, place on the internet or otherwise knowingly distribute or provide access to the contents of www.woolwise.com or any portions thereof, to any third party. Information obtained from www.woolwise.com is not to be used for fee-for-service purposes or transmitted to non-subscribing institutions.

    Information obtained from this service is not to be systematically downloaded, re-published in any media, print or electronic, without the express permission of the Australian Wool Education Trust.

    The Licensee agrees not to remove or obscure copyright notices.


  6. Warranty

    The information contained on the www.woolwise.com site or on the woolwise CD ROM is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties or performance of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, or warranties as to the accuracy or completeness of the information It is the user's entire risk as to the selection of the material. Neither the Australian Wool Education Trust nor any individual or party involved in the creation , production or delivery of the material on the www.woolwise.com website or CD ROM shall be liable for any damages that result from Licensee's use of the material, such as lost time, lost profits, computer problems, or other special, incidental or consequential damages, regardless of whether such damages are foreseeable or whether such damages are deemed to result from the failure of inadequacy of any exclusive or other remedy.


  7. Copyright

    The entire contents of the www.woolwise.com site, including data, screen designs and other items within the site are copyright. Copyright of all material, including that where copyright is attributed to the former CRC for Premium Quality Wool, or the former Sheep CRC is held by the Australian Wool Education Trust.


  8. License Definition and Duration

    A License to use the www.woolwise.com educational material provides Authorised Users access to the the electronic information available on this site, the right to download copies of this material for their own use according to the terms listed above. There is no time duration on this licence.

  9. Acceptance of the licence

    In downloading or otherwise accessing the materials on this site you are indicating your acceptance of this licence and the conditions that apply.

Woolwise educational resources are provided free of charge, except where materials are distributed to organisations or individuals that do not have a Copyright Agency Ltd (CAL) licence.
